remy turns three. (eight months ago)

remember how behind i am at blogging, yet i continue to feebly try to catch up?
remy turned three back in april. here's some snapshots of his day.

i did the fun mom thing and hung balloons.
his favorite color then was orange. 

and his favorite breakfast, pancakes.
i think we even let him have syrup! 

after breakfast, presents from mom and dad! 

his favorite gift, a cooking set and fake food. 

he did get a pretty cool motorcycle/bike too.
that he was mostly uninterested in. 

we asked him what he wanted to do for his big day
and he immediately said, "the zoo!" 

these two have a pretty good time together. 

after his blessed nap, we went to the food trucks for pizza! 

and i made this cake.
the homemade frosting was preeeeetty killer. 

his two favorite trucks at the time,
front loader and excavator.
my mom knowledge has expanded to all truck names.
seriously, every single truck known to man. 

family came over and we had a little party. 

because this kid needs more presents. 

ugh it's so fun giving your kid things. 

thanks to grandma julie for bringing the cute decor.
we were moving the next week, i and didn't have a cute party in me. 

after he blew out his candles, he thanked everyone for singing. 

i sure love this little 3 year old of mine.
