oops, i'm really behind in chronicling the adventures of my super interesting life. 

not to make excuses, but i started work as a youth in custody mentor again, applied for grad school (why am i announcing this on my public blog when i'm definitely not getting in; i didn't have ANY volunteer experience, oops. whatever, i am not ashamed of failure, no i definitely am. it's fine.) and had 2000000 photo sessions to edit which took a thousand years.

okay, when i wasn't doing all of that, here's what went on september-ish.

this was the night i ran into our pharmacist, who i know really well because i pop soooo many drugs!!! i have only ever seen him with his white coat on, and this day out in the wild he had a tank top on, displaying his many tattoos! i love tattoos! so i didn't mean it in a rude way when i was like, oh wow, you have sleeves! and he was like... and i was like, no i like them! i just never see you out of your coat. and his wife/gf was like...... yeah walk away collette.

see! food truck thursdays are the best. and we live close enough we just walked. 

fire fighter piggy wiggy is a fav. 

travis and i ran (mostly walked) the stunt run. it was really fun and cheap! we were covered in bubbles,
did the leapfrog over water thingy, and a climbing wall with punching arms. if you don't know what any
 of that means, just google stunt run and watch videos.

went climbing at cecret lake one beautiful sunday afternoon. 

love my climbing partner and brother. 

the hike was worth this view. 

see, good view. alas, my phone got lost. but nate, my bff and climbing
partner hiked back up the next day
and found it! can you believe that. 

the next day we went hiking up big cottonwood canyon to see the changing leaves.

i've started trying to take rem on a fun outing every saturday morning.
this one was the zoo. 

besides the creepy man following us and then trying to talk and tell jokes to me for over 30 minutes,
it was a good time. i love the toddler age and how much more they understand, while still being
hilarious with little kid talk.

sunday morning pancakes. 

so this coveted green tag was a huge deal for me to finally earn. this is a lead climb tag at the gym. you have to pass
a test involving taking a very long fall on a lead rope and then catching a fall that sends you about ten feet up in the air.
i took it back in august and failed it, and i was actually so upset i cried. (lol) so yeah, this was a huge deal and a HUGE milestone for my climbing. 

i finally decorated my work office! i love having my own this year.

 so that's september. it was really busy and fun! i also started counseling again, which has been intense but needed. bleh mental health.
