remy has always loved winnie the pooh, ever since i let him watch it around the time he turned a year old. actually, when i was thinking about getting pregnant, i found some beautiful gold framed prints of vintage winnie the pooh that i bought for a nursery. you know, when i was still not even trying to get pregnant. i've always loved winnie the pooh; it's a sweet story with a lot of good wisdom. so of course, that was the theme of the party.
i'm pretty crazy about how it turned out.
my soon-to-be sister in law, sara, made the cake. seriously! look at that cake!
i know, so many cake pictures. but look at it.
if you looked at remy and thought, oh he is in yellow and red, he's winnie the pooh, you are right.
the lawn mower was a present from last year, but it was somehow still the star of the show.
remy sat himself down right next to the stereo, which was blasting his fav, avett brothers. amid the chaos of the party, he could be found listening to music and dancing. which is typical remington.
the favors were honey sticks, which half of the guests had no idea what to do with.
can't believe my boy is turning two.
spoiled rotten, as usual.
the firetruck was a favorite of all children in attendance.
such the favorite, that a brawl ensued.
toddlers feeling all the feels.
of course roxanne miller bought him a giant superman.
mom...
aunt sara presenting remy with his cake.
great turnout, perfect weather. (it snowed over a foot five days ago, classic utah spring.)
remy had a great time! i was thrilled with how it turned out.
if you came, thanks so much for the help and love.
i have a two year old!
xo.
