january.
january was really rough this year.
my winter blues hit and hit hard.
every spare minute i had between work and momming was spent curled up under a blanket eating or drinking something warm. i put on some weight, i was grumpy, i was untouchable, and travis is a saint for dealing with me.

day after christmas, travis back at the station, okay i guess this was technically still december, but i felt pretty proud of myself for putting all of remy's toys together by myself.

i didn't climb as much as usual because of my blanket lair, but this was one night travis dragged me out of hiding.

and one night travis convinced me to play games instead of just watching netflix.
also for your fellow quirkle players, this was the game i got a double quirkle in one round. what's up!

we did go snowshoeing once in lamb's canyon and that was really good.

i coached.

NYE was lame as usual, but at least i was hanging with my bestie.
travis worked, i backed into a parked car and racked up $500 of damages.
we did have fun playing cards against humanity and drinking milkshakes at denny's until 2 am though. never trying to go dancing on new year's again.

we went up to crystal hot springs with my parents and that was probably the best part of the whole month!

sunday morning climbs kept me going.

we played in the snow and remy looked adorable in his snow clothes.

made our first snowman, and my first in at least 10 years.

had climbing training early in the morning with my fellow coaches.

lead climbed my first 11 b!!!!! so that was cool. i guess january had a few highlights.

watched a shit ton of movies.

rem loves his banana bread.

tried spicing up the mom life with new games for the tod.

those days when you could see the mountains.

again, drank a lot of tea.

went to hadley's 2nd birthday party and went up and down this giant slide a thousand times!

we all drove to manti so i could shoot a wedding. it turned out to be a really fun family outing.

oh we had a splurge date night to the dodo and ate so much. their stroganoff, best comfort food ever.

yeah january was not my favorite. thank goodness it's over and we don't have to do it again for a while.
